"Saving a Life Means the World to the Life You Saved"
All of the resident animals in our care here at the farm enjoy a quiet and peaceful existence full of love. We strive to provide our rescues with quality care. Clean barns/sheds with good clean bedding. Pastures with safe and maintained fencing. Grass that is nutritious and days filled with happiness. Even a healthy resident here requires basic healthcare. At a minimum our resident rescues receive quality hay and/or grain tailored to their individual needs. They get routine hoof care, routine vet exams and yearly vaccines and deworming to keep them in top condition to enjoy healthy and long lives. Some of our rescue residents have ongoing or potential risky health conditions. Supplements, specialized diets and feed or extensive management are some of the regular medical care that we provide them.
Though we are extremely grateful to all of our supporters, especially those who donate regularly, our financial strain is great and forces us to ask for more help.
None of the above numbers reflect ANY of our on-going rescue efforts where animals might need surgery for spay/neuter, amputations, eye removal, tumor treatment, dentals, vaccines, lameness care, infections and the list goes on, all of which are additional costs to the rescue.
We currently receive $400.00 in recurring donations each month.
We need a total of $1,208.00 per month just to operate without any additional costs as noted above.
Will you please help us raise the needed $808.00/Month?

This precious little mini donkey came to us via owner surrender. She was pregnant, parasitic and desperate for love. Her baby was born later that year, healthy and adopted to a great home!
Sadie had been enjoying a wonderful home for several years but due to her declining teeth and age-related health issues she is back with us as a permanent resident.
Her monthly cost is $110.

He is probably mid-30's, still a stallion, carrying a heavy parasite infestation and horrendous issues with his teeth. Blue eyes and party colors, he was a scared, semi-feral "stray" at large. With patience he has finally learned to be happy with contained life. He is a permanent resident so we can monitor his weight, tusks and hooves and he also helps graze the chicken pen.
Hamlet is a favorite with visitors and has recently welcomed a new piggy friend "Cutie Patootie"

Then a few weeks ago we were notified about another stray pig hanging out behind a church on the other side of the valley, we again went to see if we could catch and could not. But the next morning guess who showed up on the farm? She walked herself right in the driveway and up to the barn and into the paddock! Now she is sharing a home with Hamlet.

7 days old and orphaned, we brought Booker T into the house. He was raised by our farm dog, Dominic. He showed up a few years ago, a feral young cat in our hayloft. Slowly, one step at a time, he would sit on the "stairway" and watch us as we slowly befriended him. Now you would never know he was ever a wild kitty. Steve is the barn mascot and mouse catcher and will be a permanent resident with us. He is fixed and UTD now.
His monthly cost is $15.

All of the hens and the rooster here at the farm were in need for one reason or another. Bumble foot, parasites, hen pecked, plain unwanted. They all have formed a great little group living out their lives here with us.

Both of these little girls are Frizzle Bantams. Bebe came first to the rescue. She was nearly naked from being hen-pecked so bad by larger chickens. She is TINY.
